Recently, the multi-purpose wharf project of Santiago Port, Cuba, in which Nanjing INT has participated in the construction, has been completed the acceptance and transmission of electricity. Miguel Dias Carnell, Cuba's supreme leader and chairman of the State Council, personally visited the project department to express his satisfaction with the quality of the project delivery and the progress of its implementation. He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Chinese staff for their hard work.

The construction of multi-functional Wharf in Santiago Port of Cuba is the first infrastructure project in Cuba implemented by our country with foreign aid and loan, which has strategic demonstration significance. In order to ensure the completion of the project on schedule, the engineers from Nanjing INT worked overtime to complete the installation, wiring and comprehensive debugging of the field equipment in the steamer-like hot distribution room. At the training stage, they tried their best to overcome the language barriers and familiarize the Cuban field staff through careful explanation with PA 620 series protective relays, IDM30 series intelligent digital meters and other products. They have done a great job to successfully complete the project implementation task on a tight schedule.
